A leaning picture : The areas of Akashi-city adjacent to Kobe-city were also hit by tremors estimated to be an intensity of 7 on the Japanese seismic scale.

This stereo remained upright, but the record player tumbled off : The photo was taken after the record player was replaced

A bookshelf that tumbled eastward : The refrigerator also moved 10 cm to the north, and the piano moved 10 cm to the south.

Damage to the roof of my home : 30% of the tiles fell off, mainly from the south side of the roof, which qualified the house for a partially damaged appraisal.
