April 1, 1995 : All JR lines restored to service : The section between Nada and Sumiyoshi is opened.
The Shinkansen had finally returned to the platform at Akashi Station.

Rokkomichi Station was restored, but a number of houses in the vicinity were still waiting to be demolished.
