Seafloor hydrothermal system is a window to the deep crustal environment of the Earth an analogue of the birth place of the terrestrial life.
The Archaean Park Project, International Research Project on Interaction Between Sub-Vent Biosphere and Geo-Environment which is funded by Special Coordination Fund of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), directly approach the seafloor hydrothermal system to decipher interactions among biosphere, hydrosphere and geosphere.
